My Charity Project

"Just as I have been blessed, so too would I like to bring blessings to others"

My B'at Mitzvah was so much more than just a big party. In many Jewish circles, becoming a B'at Mitzvah means being able to read in Hebrew from the torah (the old testament) for the entire temple. It takes an awful lot of practice to get each word just right.

I was a little nervous. But after I read my torah portion, people came up to congratulate me and said that I did a wonderful job. It felt pretty good to be up there in front of everyone and not mess up.

Now I would like to use my celebration to help people in need.
